Not sure if you guys have heard or not, but there's a new range opening up in Glengary, West Virginia - Peacemaker National Training Center. Their original "open" date was supposed to be July; however, it's been pushed back to August. I hear good things about this place, and I'm betting it'll be worth the wait! peacemakernational.com/Home_Page.html

I have heard of this place through many people, it seems to offer a ton and I recently sent an email to them asking some questions... $400/year is pretty decent for what it seems to offer. I love LONG distance shooting, and this place is an hour closer than my range in Delaware. I am gonna try to take a trip out here soon to see it in person if they will allow it.

Good luck finding it! Their mailing address is a P.O. Box in Martinsburg, but the actual range will be in Glengary. I don't know where yet, though. I'm on the list for membership and I can't wait! What's nice is they're going to limit the amount of members. Below is the email I received from them earlier this month.
Chris, Hi. We are estimateing between 500 -1000. We will be doing quality tests to determine appropriate volume levels. Thank you. - Chris

So, a few days ago I visited PNTC, paid my dues, took a tour, and received my badge. So far I have one word to describe this place - HUGE! Construction is still going on, and with the monsoon we had last week, opening has been pushed back to the 22nd. And even then construction will still be going on. I forgot my camera, so I didn't get any pics. Sorry. I did, however, get an overview of the different ranges and what's available to members and non-members. Patriot Range - this is the 1000 yard range and is ONLY open to members. I got a chance to see the electronic electronic targeting system they're using - it's the only one of it's kind in the US. AMAZING. Take a look at this You Tube video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=35eDmP4JS7cLiberty Ranges - this is the tactical pistol/rifle/shotgun ranges and, again, is only open to members. 18 interconnected ranges, 100 yards. This is where they'll hold tactical training classes and 3Gun matches. Independence Range - this is the general "sighting in" range and is open to the public. 100-300 yard stations for rifle, 3-25 yard for pistol. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the general public only has to pay $10 for all day. But I can't remember 100%. Homeplace Ranges - Shotgun, clays, skeet, etc. Members only. Although they still have some work to do, this place will be absolutely amazing once it's done. I had a chance to speak to the owner's wife, and apparently he has done ALL of the construction himself. Very nice people!
