Very nice, actually. We offered to buy him and his wife drinks, but he politely declined because he was carrying. He did, however, thank us for the offer and for our support. I shook his hand and said, "thank you for all you do!." He then said to me, "it's not me, its' all of US!"

A lot of people in our community have a bad taste in their mouths for the NRA for their relentless money grabbing Emails and mailings. IMO this organization is essential to our retaining our 2nd Amendment Rights and their constant fundraising is required to continue the fight. I do as much as I can to support them, but once you contribute to any cause you can expect to be inundated with additional requests. I converted to a Lifetime Membership this year even though my annual membership was paid up through 2016. I do subscribe to insurance that covers my firearms from theft. Every time I purchase from an NRA supporter vendor I always round up my charges to support the NRA. As much as some of my compatriots dislike the tactics of the NRA they are our guardians in the constant fight for our 2nd Amendment rights and they need our support. Ask any gun-grabbing liberal who their biggest enemy is and you can trust that they will say The NRA.
